Portrait of Stefanie

My portrait photo is of my daughter Stefanie just before receiving an award at school. I think the shot captures her inner and outer self because her natural smile and beauty shows in the photo (I may be a little biased). I edited the photo by first cropping to account for the rule of thirds, placing the intersecting lines between her eyes to make them the focal point. I then used the healing brush to remove the unsightly handrail and chair from the shot. The exposure was increased to 1.0 to lighten the final product and a vignette was applied at the intensity of 41.
